The Victron MultiPlus-II PMP482505110 is a 48V, 120V inverter/charger that combines the functions of a MultiPlus with ESS energy storage functionality. It integrates a true sine wave inverter, adaptive battery charger, and automatic transfer switch in one unit for professional marine, yachting, vehicle, and land-based off-grid applications.
PowerControl and PowerAssist help manage limited grid, shore, or generator power. The MultiPlus-II can account for other AC loads and use available remaining power for battery charging, helping prevent overload of the AC source. During short periods of peak demand, PowerAssist can supplement the AC source with battery power, then use spare power to recharge the battery once the load decreases.
The MultiPlus-II can be used in off-grid and grid-connected PV systems and is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-tie inverters. It also supports parallel, split-phase, and three-phase operation with compatible units, making it suitable for expandable Victron power systems.
