Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V inverter/charger with 3000VA true sine wave output, 120A battery charging, 50A transfer switch, ESS functionality, PowerControl, PowerAssist, and VE.Bus system integration for marine, mobile, off-grid, backup, and energy storage systems.
The Victron MultiPlus-II PMP122305122 is a 12V, 120V inverter/charger that combines the core functions of a MultiPlus with ESS energy storage functionality. It integrates a true sine wave inverter, adaptive battery charger, and automatic transfer switch in one unit, making it suitable for professional marine, yachting, vehicle, and land-based off-grid applications.
PowerControl and PowerAssist help manage limited grid, shore, or generator power. The system can reduce battery charging to avoid overloading the AC source, then supplement that source with battery power during temporary peak demand. When the load drops, available AC power is used to recharge the battery.
The MultiPlus-II can be used in off-grid and grid-connected PV systems and is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-tie inverters. The page 1 system diagrams show both a standard marine, mobile, or off-grid installation and a grid-parallel topology with an MPPT solar charge controller, where an external current sensor or power meter can help optimize self-consumption and prevent grid feed when required.
