Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-50 2x120V inverter/charger with 3000VA true sine wave output, 70A battery charging, 50A transfer switch, PowerControl, PowerAssist, and VE.Bus system integration for 24V split-phase, marine, vehicle, off-grid, and backup power systems.
The Victron MultiPlus-II PMP242305130 is a 24V 2x120V inverter/charger that combines the functions of a true sine wave inverter, adaptive battery charger, and automatic transfer switch in one integrated unit. It is designed for systems that may use split-phase 120/240V input and output or single-phase 120V input and output, while providing 120V output when operating in inverter mode.
When an AC source is available, the MultiPlus-II feeds AC through to its output and mirrors the AC input. When shore, generator, or grid power is disconnected, the unit switches to inverter operation and connects both output lines together to provide 120VAC to loads on either line. This prevents 240V loads, such as water heaters or 240V air conditioners, from discharging the battery when no split-phase AC source is available.
PowerControl and PowerAssist help manage limited generator, shore, or grid power. PowerControl helps prevent overload by accounting for other AC loads, while PowerAssist supplements the AC source with battery power during temporary peak demand. The page 1 wiring diagrams show inverter mode, 120VAC input, and split-phase input power flow for different installation scenarios.
