The Victron Quattro-II 12/3000/120-50 2x120V is a 12V inverter/charger designed for mobile, marine, off-grid, backup, and alternative energy systems that need flexible AC input handling and dependable battery-powered output. It can accept two independent AC sources, such as shore power and generator power, and automatically connects to the active source.
This 2x120V model supports split-phase 120/240V input or single-phase 120V input. When AC power is available, the output mirrors the AC input. When operating from battery power, the inverter provides 120V single-phase output and connects both output lines together so 120V loads on either line can be powered. 240V loads are supplied only when a split-phase AC source is present, helping prevent heavy 240V loads from discharging the battery.
The Quattro-II includes PowerControl and PowerAssist to help manage limited shore, generator, or grid power. PowerControl prevents AC source overload by limiting current draw, while PowerAssist supplements insufficient AC input with battery power during short peak-load periods. The main output provides no-break functionality, with less than 18 ms transfer time on L1 for sensitive electronics.
